• The Trgedy that is O'Mizzie (9/25/2008)

  I agree, nothing good can come up from something based on lies and cheating. I mean, it was great for the show when Izzie and George slept together, but it couldn't work out as George was married to Callie. And once they could actually be together, it seems as if they lost it... only kind love, no desire. 

  Look at Mer/Der, it all began with lies and trust issues, and so they needed four season to finally manage to be together and come clean (for once, it'll begin rightly as Derek was on his way of breaking up with Rose before starting over with Mer). Look at Addy and Sloan... Impossible! Look at Alex with eveybody, his behaviour makes it impossible for him to be in a relationship. Look at George and Mer, sleeping together while it was so clear she was in love with McDreamy. And McDreamy and Addy, wanting to patch things up after she had an affair and he met Meredith... No, no good can come from cheating. If love is real, it can wait to start fresh!(I agree that Burktina was the only couple with trust and respect from the start, but they weren't meant to be, they didn't want the same things and she might have loved him for the wrong reasons... too bad it didn't work out though...)

   

  Let's go back to Gizzie. To me, watching Izzie and George together wasn't right. At first it was kinda funny, I mean it was a one night stand that was supposed to make George realize he made a huge mistake by sleeping with Callie. It was strange though as it felt a bit incestuous to me. But than, it became even weirder: Izzie became so annoying, meddling with everything, and George I wanted to slap him as he couldn't face the truth and was hurting Callie so badly. A line was crossed and than it was like they wanted each other because they couldn't! It ended really weirdly as well... it was like so naturally, they weren't together anymore...

  And then came Lexie... And that's my hope of seing George finally happy with someone who totally go well with him. They get each other, laugh together, and she can make him believe in himself as even Izzie couldn't... Of course we can see she like him. That could be a possibility of one couple not starting on wrong basis. But then again, I'm afraid he might see her the way Mer used to see him when he had a crush on her...

  My answer is easy: McDreamy makes Meredith believe in love and together they make me believe too!

   

   

  Remember the episode when she was drowning... even though he made some mistakes, wrong choices, disappointed her, even though she had lost her trust in him, that day when she drawned, he was there and he saved her. When she was nearly dying, he was there, he looked at her as I would like my loved one to look at me! He was desperate, losing himself when he thought he was losing her... no matter all the issues (his as much as hers), they always found the way back to each other, and now I think nothing's ever gonna come between them again. (and maybe she's gonna save him the way he did before...)
